Spring is here to stay and I can say that with confidence and pride. The most fashionable way to embrace spring this year is to bring some flowers into your wardrobe.

The last few weeks I’ve been trying to bring as much spring into my daily outfit as possible. Bright colors, florals, and light flowy fabrics draw the mind to a warm spring day. My theory is that if I dress spring…it will be spring! And it seems to be working! So to amp it up to the next level I decided to bring spring inside my home too! So a quick stop in to see the lovely ladies at Quilts Ect was in order!

And with their help, not only did I find a little spring for my bedroom, but I also learned a lot about how to maximize my comfort while sleeping! They introduced me to a fabric called Tencel, and I’m hooked! It is probably the softest fabric I’ve ever laid my hands on and if that’s not enough to fall in love with, it’s also very eco-friendly! It is respected as a highly sustainable textile that is man made using nanotechnology with the fibres of bark from the Eucalyptus tree. The resulting fabric is a soft, moisture-wicking, biodegradable, hypo-allergenic dream!

Pretty soon we’ll be admiring all the tulips popping up in front yards…but in the meantime…I’ll be dreaming of yellow tencel poppies!

I included photos from the time we met, when we got married, when our kids were born, and memorable holidays we’ve had together. It turned out beautiful and I can’t wait to give it to him!

Jewelry never goes out of style and when I stopped by Crowley’s I was quickly enamoured with many of the gorgeous pieces they have there. I love the idea of starting a charm bracelet, this way you’ll know what to get her for all upcoming birthdays, anniversaries and holidays! The ones at Crowley’s made by Thomas Sabo are both gorgeous and great quality; it’s definitely a gift that she would cherish for the rest of her life!
